3288: Comment in expanded section of code disappears after collapsing and expanding the section

ser****@gmai***** (Google Code) (Is this you? Claim this profile.)
What version are you running?

1.7.6

What's the URL of the page containing the problem?

It is on an internal server not open to the public:
https://hopper.rose.hp.com/r/6182/diff/#index_header

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Expand a collapsed section of code in the diff viewer. That is the code not changed and collapsed to save space
2. Put in a comment
3. Collapse and expand that section of code. The comment is gone. However, once you submit the review, it shows up in the comment list.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected output it to see you comment once more after you collapse the unchanged code and expand it again. Instead you don't see you comment in the diff viewer any longer.

What operating system are you using? What browser?

Window 7. Reproducing on IE 8 and Chrome 22.

Looks like we have this fixed in 2.0, but not in 1.7.x. We'll need to figure out when we fixed it and backport it.

Just to note though that 1.7.6 is pretty old at this point. At the earliest, a fix for this would go into 1.7.23.

1.7 is no longer recieving updates. Since this is fixed in 2.0+, we can close this.
