What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select some text.
2. Click in a field (usually see this in summary, sometimes review group) so that you are editing.
3. Middle click to paste the selection.
4. Click 'ok' to finish editing.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect this to work. Instead, the field 'forgets' the text I pasted and becomes blank again. (On 1.7.0 rc1 the field also got messed up so that it was really tiny, but seems fixed in 1.7.1.)
What operating system are you using? What browser?
Linux (Fedora 17), Konqueror 4.9.3 with QtWebKit renderer. (A coworker has seen it with a different browser; either Chrome or a uzbl using GTK WebKit IIRC.)
Please provide any additional information below.
If I manually modify the text after pasting (e.g. add and delete a letter), then it accepts the full text. Therefore, I suspect a javascript bug where it needs to see an actual key press before it will accept that the text has been modified.
