Describe the problem and any recommendations below.
The documentation says to use the "latest" PyLucene for searching.  But PyLucene 3.x doesn't work.

Please provide any additional information below.
Actually I can't get PyLucene 2.9.3 to work either, although it gets a lot farther than 3.0.2 does.  What's the maximum version of PyLucene that does work?
