What's the URL of the page containing the problem?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to post a review with a diff from P4 and no change number

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect the review request to be added.  Instead, I see this error message
in red:

[P4.connect()] Connect to server failed; check $P4PORT. TCP connect to
//lyrdepot/products/hqlib/main/ failed. //lyrdepot/products/hqlib/main/:
service unknown. 

What operating system are you using? What browser?
Ubuntu/Apache/MySQL on the server.  Win32-Firefox for the browser.

Please provide any additional information below.

P4 and P4v both run fine on the server and can access the repo.  Do I have
a config issue with review-board?  I haven't found docs on this in
particular, and I haven't seen a similarly logged issue.

If I do provide a change number and submit, the form just re-appears,
empty, with no review request having been added.  I would've expected some
error message in this case too of course, but no error appears.

For submitting diff for a p4 repository you need to use post-review script on client
side. The documentation is available at
http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/wiki/Using_PostReview

It sounds like you entered a depot path instead of a perforce port in the admin
configuration.
