4393: "duplicates" vs "duplicate of" relationship isn't obvious

What's the URL of the page containing the problem?

https://hellosplat.com/s/beanbag/tickets/2104/
https://hellosplat.com/s/beanbag/tickets/2288/

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Mark a bug as a duplicate in splat
  2. View each bug, the original and the duplicate

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect it to be obvious that one bug is now closed (it is considered a duplicate) and the other remains open listing closed duplicates.

In the urls I provided above it was not completely obvious to me what the relationship was. I intially opened #2014 and thought "duplicates" was ambigious. Upon visiting #2288 via the duplicates link, I still wasn't clear. "duplicate of" gave me a hint it was in fact the closed bug, and finding the "Closed: Feb. 4, 2014" at the top of the bug confirmed this.

I do feel like the duplication indicators could be made a bit more clear - it would also really help if it was much more obvious that a bug was closed, I had to search for the small "Closed" line.

Would it be better if we did something like added "This ticket is now closed" to the bottom of the activity that closes the ticket.

Or perhaps change "Duplicates of" to be "Duplicates of this bug"?

What are your thoughts on how to fix this?
