3527: Possibility to manually mark parts of line in diff viewer

It would be nice to have a possibility to manually mark parts of a line in the Review Board diff viewer.
If someone hands in a review request for a diff with several new lines, this would give the reviewer the possibility to comment for example on the name of a function or variable and suggest to give a different name.

I don't understand what you're asking for. Can you be more specific about the particular interaction you'd like to see?

I believe they are asking for sub-line commenting (i.e. commenting on only part of a line, not the entire line).
