2965: "Ship It!" emails only contain user's first name

What version are you running?
1.7.6

What's the URL of the page containing the problem?
"Ship It!" emails sent to reviewers

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click "Ship It!" button
2. Receive email notification

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Would prefer seeing full user name such as "John Doe". Currently only see "- John". Troublesome when you have hundreds of Johns.

What operating system are you using? What browser?
Ubuntu 10.04, latest Chrome (not relevant...)
