What's the URL of the page containing the problem? NA What steps will reproduce the problem? NA What is the expected output? What do you see instead? NA What operating system are you using? What browser? NA Please provide any additional information below. So. While I know it's not possible to replicate all the features, I still think it would be nice if ReviewBoard can accept e-mail messages and incorporate them into the stored review comments. Also, a member should be able to choose to receive review requests (already there?) and comments via mail. Basically, I don't do anything unless I get mail about it. If I have to check a web site periodically to keep up with a review, I won't do it at all. I also prefer to type any large amount of text with my editor, not some html text box.
We would love to have better e-mail integration but I honestly don't see this ever happening. There are too many ways of formatting an e-mail such that Review Board wouldn't be able to parse it and integrate the comments right. If it can't be done perfectly 100% of the time, it shouldn't be done at all, or it will cause further frustration. Receiving review requests via e-mail will happen if the server administrator enables this and if you've joined the group the review requests are being sent to (My account in the top right). You'll get comments if you're on the group, if you've starred the review request, if you're on the reviewer list, or if you've commented on the review request.
