225: Gray box around color block in diffs are distracting

What's the URL of the page containing the problem? Any. What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Look at diffs 2. See gray border around each color block What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Just the color changes should be sufficient. The gray borders make it hard for me to read the code as a whole. What operating system are you using? What browser? Linux. Firefox 2.0.0.6. Please provide any additional information below.
We moved to this from black boxes. I don't like the non-bordered boxes, and so far everyone I've talked to is happy with the current look. I'd advise at this point to override the stylesheet in your browser to get rid of the borders. There are various plugins out there that will let you inject stylesheets, but you'll have to look those up.
