What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to the first URL as an admin and enter a spreadsheet. Put text in the Message field.
2. Go to the second URL as a student. No message. Click the spreadsheet. Still no message.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd expect to be able to see the message someplace in the student view.
