1. Upload the diff in the attached tarball
2. Load the diff view

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The diff view is broken and lists debug output.

It looks like this diff really doesn't apply cleanly. How was it created?

the user stated in downstrem bug report that he might have created the patch from an outdated working copy. So I think you may close the bug report? Or should RB maybe try if a patch applies cleanly and then forbid to create the RR?

We had a bug about that (583) that got mistakenly closed. I think you can close your downstream bug as user error.
