Describe the enhancement and the motivation for it.
Perhaps there already is such enhancement request and this will be a
duplicate request, though...
It would be very useful to have an action somewhere in review summary area
that would update change description straigh in SCM (if it supports this,
of course) with review conversation details. In such way - it would be very
easy to see straight in SCM tool - what was discussed during review of this
check-in, arguments and decisions made, who and when performed review etc.
This, in its turn, would make it much more easy to understand the changes
made for another person that is looking at what and how had been done.
In example - we use Perforce as SCM tool. The process is following:
1. We create pending changelist with modified files
2. We post-review this chengelist onto review board
3. Perform review
4. (Requested) When we get "Ship It" - would be great to have a button that
would update pending changelist description with review details
5. Submitter submits pending changelist and closes review request
