I'm having the same issue with changing the repository from http:// to https://.

Running on Windows Server 2008. Everything was fine before but when we moved our repository, I tried to change it and go the error.

Unable to create directory ~/.subversion, which is needed for the Subversion configuration. Create this directory and set the web server's user as the the owner.

Please help.

zaung1: What version of Review Board are you running? For HTTPS, you will have to install 1.5 RC 1, and follow the instructions for creating the data directory and setting the $HOME environment variable for your web server.

Anyone with the solution? I upgraded Review board to the latest 1.5 version. Everything was working fine on a diffent doamin. We recently switched domain, and the Review Board sever was given a new Hostname and IP.

I need to update my svn repositories on RB, but the above error appears. Could this be a permissions issue? A service acct. was added and it was given ownership of the .subversion directory. But the issue still occurs.

Let me know what you guys found and I will do likewise.

Thanks.
