What version are you running? 1.1 alpha 1 Please provide any additional information below. It would be awesome to have as simple as possible a Visual Studio plugin that allows a solution to be right-clicked and issue a post-review. Something similar to AnkhSvn. Perhaps there could be some integration or piggy-backing of AnkhSvn or other VS plugins. It should only need to know the RB address and username/password. Advanced options to submit as, publish, open browser, etc would also be nice.
FYI, I am working on a VS Package to do just this. I am close to Alpha quality to post a new review and post to an existing review. I don't yet prompt or have settings for server/username/password, or anything else. Currently the user will need to have the reviewboard:url svn property set and have run post-review from the some directory to set the authentication cookie. It also does not [yet] have an update checking ability. I plan to add these once I get the basic Alpha working. Once the Alpha is ready I will post the code to code.google.com, perhaps in this project if the owners will let me.
Video posted at temporary project site currently at: http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard-vspackage/ I *plan* to rename the project to "reviewboard-vsx", and thus: http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard-vsx/ We should talk if I should just host this on the official ReviewBoard github.
OMG sorry but this is terribly ugly and doesn't work.
? Please be more descriptive. What do you mean by "is terribly ugly" and "doesn't work". Neither one of those two statements is helpful or constructive to solving any problem.
It required a lot of configuraton steps most developers were not willing to perform.
Again, your comments are not specific of constructive. What do you mean by "a lot of configuration steps"? What config steps are you talking about, which ones seem like too much, and which ones are you unwilling to perform? Please be specific.
