Windows needs patch.exe and the section "Installing patch" is missing in 
the doc. This can be downloaded from 
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/patch.htm

That would be useful. I spent an hour trying to figure out why the "Diff view" was not working. Apache or python 
didn't log anything...
